That local model can make Aramex relevant for suitable cartons moving to businesses or homes, but service fit depends on the collection area, destination and package profile.

Pallets, very long items, dense machinery, temperature-sensitive goods and specialist handling may require a different carrier. Do not split one unsafe heavy item into an unsuitable carton merely to seek a parcel rate.
The local depot model affects route suitability
Collection and delivery can involve different local operating areas and linehaul between them. A service that suits one metropolitan lane may not produce the same result for a regional postcode. Compare the exact postcode pair and current estimate rather than relying on a previous Aramex shipment.
If the pickup is outside normal premises access, provide instructions that a driver can act on safely. Gated complexes, warehouses with rear docks and home businesses should include a working contact.
Prepare parcels for ordinary network handling
Use a strong corrugated carton, protect the contents on every side and fill voids so products cannot move. Seal the top and bottom seams. A retail box, satchel around a fragile product or carton with hand holes may not provide sufficient outer protection.
Remove old labels and apply the current label flat on the largest face. For multiple parcels, match each unique label to the correct carton and keep a dispatch list. Never photocopy one label across several pieces.
Measure and describe each carton
Record outside length, width, height and gross weight after packing. If there are several carton sizes, quote them as separate line items or accurate quantities. Parcel networks can check weight and dimensions, and a correction may apply when the physical item does not match the booking.
Describe the contents specifically. Batteries, liquids, aerosols, food, alcohol, chemicals and other restricted goods require prior checking. A generated label does not prove that the contents are acceptable.
Information needed to compare Aramex

- parcel count and final dimensions and weight of each;
- clear contents description and commercial value;
- restricted-goods or battery information;
- pickup readiness and premises access;
- receiver name, phone number and delivery instructions;
- signature or authority-to-leave preference where offered; and
- the required arrival date.
Residential and apartment delivery
Include the unit number, building name, access instructions and a usable phone number. A driver may not be able to enter a secure building, wait for an absent receiver or carry a parcel to an internal room. Confirm how the selected service handles an unsuccessful delivery and whether an authority-to-leave option is appropriate for the item.
Do not request an unattended drop for stock whose value or exposure makes that risk unacceptable. Where signature is available, it confirms a delivery event but does not prove the receiver inspected hidden contents.
International Aramex options
Where an eligible international service is returned, provide a commercial invoice and complete customs information. Duties, taxes, permits and customs decisions are separate from the transport estimate. Make sure the overseas receiver understands their clearance role.
Tracking and realistic customer communication
